White High Gloss

A white high gloss kitchen uses smooth, reflective, lacquered slab doors in a bright white, usually handle-less. It's the brightest, most modern look we offer — the glossy surface throws natural light around the room, making it a favourite for compact condos and open-concept kitchens across Kitchener-Waterloo.

Not hard, but they do show fingerprints and water spots more than a matte finish — that's the nature of a reflective white surface. The good news is the smooth, sealed lacquer wipes clean in seconds with a soft cloth, so keeping them spotless is quick, just a little more frequent than with a matte door.

Each front is a smooth MDF door panel finished in high-gloss white lacquer, hung on a plywood box with soft-close hinges, dovetail drawer boxes and concealed undermount roll tracks. MDF is used for gloss doors because it provides the perfectly flat, seamless base a mirror-like finish requires — our shaker doors use solid maple.

Yes — that's one of their biggest advantages. The reflective white surface bounces light around and the seamless, handle-less doors keep the eye moving without visual clutter, both of which make a compact or condo kitchen feel more open and airy than matte cabinets would.

It depends on the look you want. High gloss is brighter, more reflective and more modern, and it maximizes light in small spaces — but it shows fingerprints.
