Castle Grey Shaker

Castle grey is a muted, stone-inspired grey with a touch of warmth — deeper than a soft dove grey, but softer and less dramatic than charcoal. It has a calm, grounded feel that suits transitional kitchens, and the subtle warmth keeps it from looking cold or clinical the way some pure greys can.

Castle grey leans warm — it has a slightly earthy, greige undertone rather than a stark, blue-cool one. That makes it easy to pair with wood-look floors, beige or cream tones and natural stone, and it's a comfortable choice if you want grey cabinets that still feel inviting in a family kitchen.

With solid maple doors on a furniture-grade plywood box and no particle board anywhere. Each cabinet has dovetail drawer boxes, soft-close hinges, concealed undermount roll tracks, adjustable plywood shelves and premium metal brackets. The painted finish holds up well in busy kitchens, and the warm grey hides everyday marks nicely.

Because it's a warm grey, castle grey pairs naturally with white or grey-veined quartz, wood-look or hardwood floors, and black or pewter hardware. A cream or light-taupe backsplash keeps the warm palette consistent, while a crisp white counter adds a little contrast without clashing.

It sits in the middle of our grey range. It's warmer and deeper than dove, lighter and softer than space grey, and nowhere near as dark as charcoal. If a cool grey feels too stark for your home but you don't want to commit to a dark cabinet, castle grey is usually the answer.
